Nucrush Company History The Nucrush Group is a 100% privately owned Australian company and part of the diversified Neumann Group of Companies. Since 1948, the Neumann Group has helped shape the Gold Coast with its steel, civil construction, petroleum, quarrying, pre-mixed concrete, mineral sands, dredging and land development businesses.

Our two divisions, Nucon Concrete and Nucrush Quarries, are significant suppliers of concrete and rock products to residential, commercial, government and infrastructure projects.

With concrete, quarry and administrative facilities extending from Logan to Ballina, the Nucrush Group employs over 140 full-time staff and contractors.

Operations

We recognise that to continue to operate successfully, we must act responsibly. Integral to the operation of our businesses is our Safety, Health and Environment Management system (SHEM). This system is based on our high ethical standards, adherence to strict State and Local Government environmental license, statutory regulations and workplace health and safety practices and regulations.

Giving back to our community
Each year the Nucrush Group proudly supports the local community through our Good Neighbour Programme (GNP). The aim of the GNP is to facilitiate a positive, long-term relationship between the company, the surrounding communities, our customers and staff. In July, we proudly provided support to a number of local charities and sporting groups.

2010 Quarry Open Day: 16 October
Each year we open the gates of the Nucrush Quarry and Concrete Plant at Oxenford to the local community, and this year is no exception. Our Open Day is an opportunity to see behind the scenes of how a quarry and concrete plant operate, learn about our Good Neighbour Programme and see monster trucks close up.
