Leading the way with low emission trucks

As part of our commitment to ensure our award-winning truck fleet remains an industry leader, Nucrush Quarries recently purchased two new Volvos.  The trucks, both FM Euro 4 models - one a 6-wheel tipper, the other a Prime Mover for the tanker fleet - increases our ability to service local customers and conduct long-haul deliveries.  Both trucks feature an I-shift automatic gearbox and one of the lowest road truck fuel emissions. 

These new purchases take the Nucrush fleet to 16; 13 tippers and three tankers - all of the Volvos!  Also ordered, and on its way from Germany, is our new aluminium tanker which should be on the road in August.

Commenting on the new purchases, Arthur Hicks, Nucrush Quarries Transport and Sales Manager, said he is very impressed with Volvo's ability to migrate large-truck technology into the smaller trucks and is proud that Nucrush maintains a modern truck fleet.
